Q: There are lots of golf schools, so what makes National Golf Schools special?
A: We know that every student has strength, flexibility, dexterity and physical characteristics that make them all different. Our teaching Philosophy is to take each person and use what they have to their greatest advantage. You will never hear a “one method fits all” mentality from our staff of Professionals. Learning is best done in a fun, respectful environment, which describes our school perfectly. Our award winning PGA, LPGA & NPGIA Professionals at each location know what it takes to teach you in a way that makes you feel special. All of our Instructors are successful teachers in their own right, so they know how to bring out the best in you, no matter what your level. Our locations are all top quality resorts in beautiful settings. Our pricing is very competitive and we give you a lot for your money. Most important is our main policy: If you don’t have a great golf school vacation and learn what you need to improve your game, we have not done our job. We have great attitudes because we love what we do. At the same time, we take the responsibility of our teaching very personally. The rave reviews we receive on our exit questionnaires tells us we are doing it right, however, we never rest when it comes to making our students happy.
Q: There are many different National Golf School locations, which one is good for me?
A: They are all top quality locations with different prices that reflect each resorts pricing structure. All have championship golf courses and great Hotels associated with each. Reunion Resort, Orlando Florida has 3 championship courses, fine dining, and is a totally enclosed golfing resort that once there, you will not need to go anywhere else. The Hammock Beach Resort, Palm Coast Florida is a beautiful beach front location for those who want to get in some slow down and relax beach time after school. Westchase Golf Club / Sailport Resort, Tampa Florida is a newer upscale club that winds through a nature preserve, as does our Sarasota Florida location the Legacy Golf Club.
All of our golf school destinations are special in their own way. You can find out more on our Locations & Prices page. We have over 100 golf school destinations if you need help, just give us a call or e-mail, and we will help you choose the location that is right for you.
Q: There is a 4 to 1 Student to Teacher ratio. Will I get enough personalized attention?
A: Yes! Our PGA, LPGA & NPGIA instructors are the best in the business and can easily handle 4 students, which is less than many other schools. If a student requests a smaller class size we have a 2 on 1 ratio for an extra $100.00 per person / per day over the package price. We also offer a 1 on 1 ratio where you have your own private instructor throughout the school for $200.00 per day over the package price. This gives our students all the options they need to make their experience memorable.
Q: What is included in the price of the schools?
A: Included in the package prices are your hotel accommodations, lunch on the days of your school, range instruction and on course playing lesson each day with your Professional, unlimited golf the days of your school, unlimited range use the days of your school, video analysis of your swing, a student reference handbook for your golf bag, and more fun than you could ever believe a golf school could be. The Commuter schools don’t include lodging.
Q: What is a typical day at the school like?
A: Depending on the logistics of each particular location, a typical day is as follows: Meet your Professional about 8:45 the first day to get aquatinted, then it’s off to the range for class. We teach until noon (yes, we give you rest breaks along the way) and then we break for lunch. About 1 o’clock after lunch, we go out on the course for our afternoon playing lesson. All of our students love this part, because you actually get to put into practice what you have learned. The good news is if you goof, we are right there with you to help you fix yourself, which is also a lot of fun. When class is over at around 3, you can do whatever you wish, play more golf, go to the range, go to the pool, sight see, go to the beach, or the 19th hole.
Q: O.K., so what do I do after I find a location and package that I am interested in?
A: That’s an easy one; you can book your trip right on our secure website. We only take a $1000 deposit upfront and the balance is paid about 2 weeks before your trip. If you don’t like ordering online, simply give us a call toll free at 1-877-580-1500 and we’ll take your order right over the phone.
We are here to help you, so if you are not sure of which location or package is right for you, we can assist you in sorting it out. We know this much for sure, no matter which location or package you choose; you will have a great golf school experience and learn a lot. That’s what a golf school vacation is all about.
Q: What happens if there’s bad weather???
A: In the rare event of bad weather, you will be able to attend the class the following day or receive a credit for the rain day to be used within 365 days of the rain day. Cancellations received within 48 hours prior to session date forfeit $100 per person.
