Once in motion, the Hovercraft glides through the putting stroke with remarkable ease and stability. The 345-gram mallet head is only 5/8" tall, allowing the entire weight of the putter to be right behind the equator of the ball at impact. The result is an incredibly high resistance to twisting at impact.
The Hovercraft's reduced twisting can be credited to the size and construction of the club head. Milled from a T-6 aluminum block, the Hovercraft's deep mallet club head and dual brass 32-gram heel and toe weights are designed to move the center of gravity further back from the face. The brass weights make the putter more forgiving on off-center hits, helping you get more putts in the hole.
The Hovercraft putter head rests on two 3/8" tall rails, placing the leading edge of the putter face right at the center of the ball upon contact. As a result of this precise impact, the ball leaves the putter face with less skidding and a truer roll.
No more "hoping for the best" when putting from the fringe or just off the green! The dual-rail design makes the Hovercraft an amazingly effective putter from the fringe and short grass. The rails easily glide through the grass blades, allowing the putter to stay smooth and stable through impact.
The final piece of the Hovercraft's high-tech design, the patented 90¡ bend shaft provides unprecedented control in keeping the putter head square throughout the stroke.
