Located approximately 15 miles from downtown Rochester in Victor, the course ranges in yardage from 5100 to 7000 depending on the tees you play from. It has not only one of the best practice facilities you have ever seen , but also has the Prolink's GPS system. This system is installed in each cart and basically acts as a caddie.

As the cart moves around the course, a graphic of each hole is displayed. The graphic shows the entire hole, including sand, water, bunkers, trees, and rough areas. It also displays the yardage (within 1 to 2 yards) to the daily pin placement and is updated as golfers move toward the hole. No more guessing yardage to the current hole.

World-renowned course architect Robin Nelson considers Ravenwood's location a designer's dream. "This is the best site for a natural golf course terrain that I have ever seen," says Nelson. "The site itself is a golf course, we just have to prepare it for play." The gentle rolling topography of the site lends itself to the traditional school of course design, most associated with legendary architect Donald Ross. Holes flow with the terrain, causing little disturbance to the existing landscape. This type of design also endeavors to take advantage of the natural beauty inherent in the site. Architect Nelson compares the Ravenwood site to that of Shinnecock Hills Country Club on Long Island, site of the 1995 and 2004 US Opens. You'll love relaxing at poolside. Our heated indoor/outdoor pool is actually two cleverly-designed pool sections interconnected by a swimmable channel. If you like hiking, this is an added bonus. From The Lodge, the scenic Crescent Trail meanders cross-country for 12 miles across glacially-formed hills and moraines covered with oak and hickory forest to the historic hamlet of Bushnell's Basin and the famous Erie Canal. Maintained by a local hiking association, the trail is a wonderful place for walking, hiking, bird watching, cross-country skiing and snow shoeing. Join this well-posted footpath directly behind The Lodge. We are at the trail's highest elevation (Horizons Hill), 825 feet above sea level. • Our classes are never more than 4 students per PGA Pro for your morning session at the practice stations, and never more than 3 students per PGA Pro for your afternoon playing lesson.
• You get a playing lesson with your PGA Professional each and every day of your school.

Many have been former Tour Pros, Head Professionals, Teaching Professionals, and Directors of Instruction who were chosen by us for their passion to help others. Daily itinerary for National Golf School: Ravenwood Golf Club / Woodcliff Hotel and Spa

Day 1

• 1:00pm: Check - In at the Lodge at Woodcliff
• 3:00pm: Golf at the Woodcliff Championship Golf Course. After golf, meet your pro and discuss your game and goals for the school.

Day 2, 3, 4 and 5

• 9:00 -12:00pm: Practice stations for personal lessons with your PGA professional. We will also video tape your swing for a take home teaching analysis.
• 12:00 - 12:45: Lunch
• 12:45 - 3:00pm: On course play with your PGA Professional.
• 3:00pm: Unlimited Golf
