National Golf Schools is pleased and excited to announce the addition of World Woods Golf Club as our newest location. It's hard to believe and even harder to describe what awaits you at this location. In addition to the world class Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks golf courses, you will find an area of Florida that most people don't know exists. Quaint little towns, crystal clear springs where you can snorkel with manatees, and an overall unspoiled beauty of days gone bye. This will be the golf school experience of a lifetime.

We have accommodation arrangements with both the Best Western at Weekie Watchee Springs and The Plantation Inn, one of Florida's most delightful resorts.

Here's a little backround on World Woods:

World Woods Golf Club was developed in 1991 by World Woods Corporation and opened on April 1, 1993. World Woods Corporation purchased its land from Florida Crush Stone, Punta Gorda Isles and several privately held properties for a total accumulation of 2,100 acres. The pristine forestry with ample vegetation was a natural setting for two World Class Championship Golf Courses accompanied by the finest practice facility in the world. Enter renowned course architect Tom Fazio. Mr. Fazio's unique style of utilizing the land's natural layout, character and beauty is evident throughout. "This is my best work," said Fazio in a recent conversation with Joe Black, past President of the PGA of America, who has had the opportunity to play many of the best golf courses worldwide. Mr. Black stated, "This is like having Pine Valley and Augusta, plus the best practice facility in the world - in the same location."

The first phase of World Woods Golf Club includes Two World Class Championship Golf Courses (i.e. Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks), a Nine Hole Short Course featuring seven par 3's and two par 4's, Three Hole Practice Course (i.e. par 5, par 4 and a par 3), the Practice Park featuring the circular 23 Acre Practice Range, with Chipping Greens and bunkers surrounding it, a 36 hole Two Acre Putting Course and an Iron Range and Putting Greens strategically located near the #1 tee of each Championship Course for last minute warm up shots.

Clearly, this is a "must play" and "must see to believe" golf facility.

Here's what makes National Golf Schools better:

• Our classes are never more than 4 students per PGA Pro for your morning session at the practice stations and never more than 3 students per PGA Pro for your afternoon playing lesson.
• You get a playing lesson with your PGA Professional each and every day of your school.
• We use PGA Professionals who are highly skilled Instructors, who know how to teach and play this great game. Many have been former Tour Pros, Head Professionals, Teaching Professionals, and Directors of Instruction who were chosen by us for their passion to help others. Many are really fun, patient people at the top of their field who are great with everyone from beginners to accomplished players.
• You name the dates you want your school and we will honor them. Your school will be according to your schedule, not only ours.

Daily itinerary for National Golf Schools: World Woods Golf Club

• 9:00 -12:00: Practice stations for personal lessons with your PGA professional. We will also video tape your swing for a take home teaching analysis.
• 12:00 - 12:45: Lunch
• 12:45 - 3:00pm: On course play with your PGA Professional.
• 3:00 pm: Unlimited Golf
